How to send a payment request
You can send the customer a payment link, or record a payment received by Bit or in person. The payments screen collects what has been paid and what is pending.

Open the customer or the appointment
A payment request is sent from its own context, so it stays linked to the right customer.
Choose send a payment request
Fill in the amount. You can send a link for online payment, or record a payment received by Bit or in cash at the business.
Share the link
Copy the payment link or open it, and send it to the customer however you like.
Track it on the payments screen
In the navigation menu, "Payments". Filter by paid, pending and failed, and see how much was collected this month.
Tips from the field
Online payments settle straight into your own payment provider account. The full breakdown, receipts and refunds live in its dashboard.
The monthly number of payment requests is capped on Professional and unlimited on Premium.
Common questions
The status update comes from the payment provider. If a few minutes have passed and nothing moved, check in the provider's dashboard whether the payment actually went through.
Yes. Mark the payment as received at the business, and the record is kept for tracking without sending a link.
