The pre appointment reminder toggle. Choose how far in advance
For most businesses a reminder the day before works best. Early enough that the customer can tell you if they cannot make it, close enough that they remember.

Tips from the field
WhatsApp reminders are available on Basic and above. The Free plan has no automatic customer reminders.
You can add attendance confirmation to the reminder, so the customer confirms or cancels with one tap inside the chat.
A thank you message after the appointment, in the "Advanced" group, is a good moment to ask for a review.
A customer without a valid phone number will not get reminders. Worth one pass through your customer list.
Common questions
No. Messages are sent through Timing in your business name.
Timing falls back to the alternative channel configured for you.
They are part of a paid plan. If the toggle is locked, tapping it shows what each plan includes.
