How to control notifications

There are two kinds: what your customers receive from you, and what you receive about bookings and cancellations. They are configured in two different places.

Where to start

Availability settings and the profile screen

  1. Customer notifications

In Availability settings, under "Customer messages", you decide whether customers get booking confirmations, reminders and cancellation updates over WhatsApp.

  2. Reminder timing

In the same place you choose how many minutes before the appointment the reminder is sent. The default is 30 minutes.

  3. Your own alerts

On the profile screen you choose which alerts you receive about new bookings, cancellations and updates.

  4. Device permission

Push notifications need a permission you grant the device once. If you declined it, it has to be restored in your operating system settings, not from inside the app.

Tips from the field

Changing the reminder timing is available from Basic, and the after-visit thank-you message from Professional.

If your cancellation window is longer than the reminder lead time, the customer cannot cancel once the reminder arrives. The system warns you about this.

The in-app notifications screen collects what happened even when you missed the push.

Common questions

First the device permission, then the settings on the profile screen. In a desktop browser, push only works while the app has been opened from the browser and not as a closed tab.

Check that customer messages are on, that your monthly quota has not run out, and that the customer's phone number is correct and carries a country code.
