Appointment Calendar

Timing's appointment calendar is the board your business actually works from: day, week, or month view, every staff member side by side, and drag to move an appointment to another time. The same calendar is what the customer sees on the booking page - only slots that are genuinely free, calculated in real time.

Why Appointment Calendar in Timing?

Day, week, and month views - switch with one tap

Every staff member in side-by-side columns, or filter to one

Drag to move an appointment - no delete-and-recreate

Block time for meetings, breaks, and days off

Recurring appointments - weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, including open-ended series

Two-way Google Calendar sync

Colour-coded by status - pending, approved, completed, cancelled

How It Works

1. Working hours define the board

Enter days and hours per staff member. The calendar is built from those, not from a uniform grid that has nothing to do with your business.

2. Appointments arrive from both directions

You add appointments directly on the board, and customers book themselves from the booking page. Both land in the same calendar.

3. Block the time that is not an appointment

A supplier meeting, a lunch break, or a day off goes in as blocked time, and like an appointment it hides those slots from customers.

4. Availability updates immediately

Every booking, cancellation, or drag recalculates the free slots. The next customer will not see a time that was just taken.

Frequently Asked Questions

Google Calendar displays events. An appointment calendar also calculates availability: it knows how long each service takes, which staff can deliver it, and which slots are left - and shows the customer only those. Timing also syncs both ways, so you do not have to choose.
