How to connect Google Calendar

Once connected, Timing appointments appear in your Google Calendar and your personal events block time in Timing. One calendar instead of two.

  3. Sign in with Google

Tap connect and choose the Google account that holds your calendar. Approve the permissions on Google's screen.

  4. Choose which calendars to import

If you keep several calendars in Google, pick the ones that should block time in Timing. A holidays calendar, for instance, usually should not.

  5. Turn on booking window blocking

This is the setting that makes an event in your personal calendar actually block that hour in Timing. Without it the import shows you the events but customers can still book over them.

Tips from the field

Pushing your appointments into Google Calendar works on every plan. Importing your personal Google events starts at Professional.

After connecting, open your Timing calendar and check that external events show up. That is the fastest way to confirm it all works.

You can switch blocking off for a single appointment, if it does not really take your time.

If you would rather not have every event block, mark the harmless ones as free in Google Calendar.

Common questions

Only you. To customers the hour simply is not offered.

Yes, from the same place. After disconnecting, external events stop blocking time.
