How It Works, Step by Step

  1. Build your service menu

    Set up each service with a length and a price: a trial, bridal makeup, evening makeup, makeup for the bridal party and a makeup lesson. Timing shows clients only the times where the service they picked fits in your calendar.

  2. Set your hours, blocks and rest

    On every plan you set working hours for each day of the week, block a whole day for a wedding out of town or several days for a holiday, and add a rest after each appointment, from 5 minutes to 2 hours, to clean your brushes and reset your station.

  3. Share your link and your work

    Your booking page link goes in your Instagram bio and your WhatsApp status, and you upload photos of looks you have done to your business page. A bride sees your work before booking, from any phone and without downloading an app.

  4. Bookings land in your calendar and on the client card

    A new booking is confirmed at once or waits for your approval, by one setting for the whole business. After the trial you note the products and shades on the client card, and book the bridal makeup for the client from the calendar if it is not booked yet.

  5. A reminder before the trial and before the event

    From the Basic plan every client gets an automatic WhatsApp reminder before each appointment, at the time you chose. From the Professional plan the client can also confirm attendance in one tap from the reminder, so you know in advance the event day is on.

Each kind of makeup is a service with its own length and price: a trial, bridal makeup, evening makeup, a makeup lesson. Clients pick a service and a free time on their own, from one link you send on WhatsApp or put in your Instagram bio.

Bookings months ahead

On every plan you set how far ahead clients can book, up to a year and beyond, so a bride can hold the wedding day early. You also set a minimum notice for booking, so nobody books a 6:00 a.m. appointment late the night before.

WhatsApp reminders and attendance confirmations

An automatic WhatsApp reminder before the trial and before the event day, at the time you chose (from the Basic plan), and a one-tap attendance confirmation request (from the Professional plan). A client who cancels before your cancellation deadline frees the time, and you get a notification.

An event details form

From the Professional plan you build a form of your own, for example the event time, where the getting ready happens, how many people need makeup and skin sensitivities, and attach it to a service. The form goes to the client automatically with the booking confirmation, and the answers are saved on the client's card.

Practical Tips for Makeup Artists

  • Manual approval when you need to check a date

    On every plan you choose whether a new booking is confirmed at once or waits for your approval. The setting applies to the whole business, so if you want to check every date before you commit, turn on manual approval.

  • Early hours on event days

    On every plan working hours are set for each day of the week, so you can open early on the days events usually fall. A minimum notice for booking, which you can set as high as 24 hours, stops an early slot from being booked the night before.

  • A cancellation deadline up to a week ahead

    On every plan, signed-in clients cancel on their own until the cancellation deadline you set, and after it they contact you. You can set it up to a week before the appointment, and the setting applies to every appointment in the business.

  • Ask the bride to leave a note

    In the settings you turn on 'Customers can add a note', on every plan. The bride then writes when booking how many people need makeup and where you all get ready, and the note shows in the appointment details.
