A special-availability service ignores working hours - customers register only for specific appointments you create in the calendar, including weekly recurring ones.

  1. What it is and why you need it

A regular service offers times from your working hours. A "special availability" service offers only specific times you set: a late-night slot, a one-off webinar, or a business that takes bookings only at exact times.

  2. Create a service and turn on the switch

A new service as usual, then under "Advanced options" enable "Special availability".

  3. Required: create the appointment in the calendar

This is the heart of the feature: without an appointment in the calendar, customers cannot register! Create a new appointment with the service at the time you want to offer.

  4. Registration opens automatically

An appointment with a special-availability service is saved as "open for customer booking" - anyone visiting your booking page can take it.

  5. Want it to repeat? Tick "Recurring"

Under "More time options" tick "Recurring" and pick a frequency, e.g. weekly. Every occurrence opens to customers automatically.

  6. What the customer sees

The service appears on the booking page as usual, but instead of a time grid - only the days and times of the appointments you created.

Tips from the field

Great for a business with no fixed hours: your entire availability is just the appointments you create.

A special-availability service cannot be a split service - it has no continuous availability.

Deleted the appointment from the calendar? Customers stop seeing it immediately.

Common questions

Most likely no calendar appointment exists with the service. Create one, pick the service and save - that time opens to customers.

Yes - additionally enable "Allow group booking" (Premium) and several customers can register for the same session.

Blocking removes time from your calendar; special availability does the opposite - it opens a specific time for registration, outside regular hours.
