How to book an appointment yourself

A customer called or walked in. You book them yourself, and they get a confirmation exactly like someone who booked online.

  1. Start a new appointment

    In the calendar, tap "Add appointment", or tap the empty slot at the time you want.

  2. Pick a customer or create one

    Start typing a name and the list filters itself. If the customer does not exist yet, tap "Add New Customer" and enter a name and phone without leaving the screen.

  3. Choose a service

    Choosing a service fills in the duration and price automatically. You can override either one for this appointment only.

  4. Set the date and time

    If you opened this by tapping a calendar slot, these are already filled in. Otherwise pick them now.

  5. Assign a team member

    If several people work with you, choose whose appointment this is. It lands in their calendar.

  6. Tap "Save"

    The appointment appears in the calendar and the customer is notified according to your settings.

Tips from the field

You can drag an appointment to a new time in the calendar. The customer gets an update about the change.

Under "Settings" inside the appointment dialog you can choose whether to notify the customer about this one. Handy when you just arranged it on the phone and they already know.

An appointment you create is not pending. It is confirmed straight away.

Common questions

Yes. An appointment with no service and no customer is really a time block, and you choose it through "Blocked / Private Time".

Book two adjoining appointments, or pick one service and extend its duration manually.

Yes. Open "More options" and turn on "Recurring". The appointments are created at the frequency you choose.
