Automatic WhatsApp Reminders

From the Basic plan (₪79 a month on the website), automatic WhatsApp reminders from Timing go out to your customers before each appointment, at a preset time you choose, from 15 minutes to 72 hours ahead, so no one has to remember to send them. The Free plan has no WhatsApp reminders.

Why Automatic WhatsApp Reminders in Timing?

From the Basic plan, reminders help cut no-shows and the income they cost

From the Basic plan, the reminder goes out on its own, with no one having to remember to send it

From the Basic plan, reminders arrive in WhatsApp, which your customers already use, with nothing to download

From the Basic plan, fewer phone calls spent reminding customers of their appointments

How It Works

1. Choose the Time

From the Basic plan, pick when the WhatsApp reminder goes out, from preset times between 15 minutes and 72 hours before the appointment (30 minutes by default). Premium can add a second reminder.

2. It Sends Itself

From the Basic plan, Timing sends the WhatsApp reminder at that time, with the date, time and service, to customers with a confirmed appointment and a phone number.

3. Add Your Own Note

From the Basic plan, a permanent note you add to a service (for example, "please arrive 5 minutes early") goes out with the reminder.

4. Confirm or Cancel from the Reminder

With attendance confirmations (from the Professional plan), the reminder carries two buttons: one to confirm and one to cancel. You switch them on in your business settings. The cancel button (from the Professional plan) works only when the reminder goes out before your cancellation deadline; the app warns you when it does not.

5. Your Calendar Updates

From the Professional plan, an appointment the customer confirmed shows a "Confirmed by customer" badge, and a cancellation made before your cancellation deadline (24 hours before the appointment by default) frees the slot and notifies you.

6. Fill the Freed Slot

From the Professional plan, with the waiting list switched on, a freed slot goes to the first customer on the list whose request fits it: they are booked and told on WhatsApp, or the booking waits for your approval if you prefer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a WhatsApp reminder bot?

Yes, in the sense that the reminder goes out on its own: from the Basic plan, Timing sends the WhatsApp reminder before the appointment, with nobody sending it by hand. From the Professional plan, once you turn on attendance confirmations, the reminder also carries confirm and cancel buttons. It is not a chatbot that holds a conversation: customers book on your booking page, not in a chat.

Do WhatsApp reminders work without clients downloading an app?

Yes. From the Basic plan, the reminder arrives in the customer's regular WhatsApp, so there is nothing to download.

How far in advance is the reminder sent?

You choose, from the Basic plan, from preset times between 15 minutes and 72 hours before the appointment, with 30 minutes as the default. You set it in your business settings. Premium can add a second reminder at another time.

What happens if a client cancels via WhatsApp?

With attendance confirmations (from the Professional plan), a customer who taps cancel before your cancellation deadline (24 hours before the appointment by default) cancels the appointment: the slot opens in your calendar and you get a notification. After the deadline the button does not cancel the appointment, so send the reminder before that deadline. The Basic plan's reminder has no buttons.

Is there a limit to how many reminders can be sent?

From the Basic plan, Timing sends one reminder per appointment, and Premium can add a second one. Basic, Professional and Premium share the same monthly safety limit on WhatsApp messages. The one-time 14-day Premium trial caps WhatsApp messages at 100 until Timing approves the business.

Are reminders sent in Hebrew?

Yes. From the Basic plan, WhatsApp reminders go out in Hebrew by default. The wording is a fixed template approved by WhatsApp. You can add a permanent note to each service, and it goes out with the reminder (Basic plan and up).
