How to import your customer list
If your customers live in your phone contacts or a spreadsheet, you can bring them all across at once instead of typing them in one by one.
Where to start

On the customers screen, open the options menu and choose to import customers.

You can import from your phone contacts or from a file. Contacts is quicker, a file is more precise when you already keep an organised list.

From contacts, tick only your customers. There is no reason to pull everyone in your phone into the list.

The customers are added. Duplicates are matched on phone number and are not created twice.
Tips from the field
Before importing a file, make sure there is a name column and a phone column and that the numbers are written consistently.
Phone numbers can be written with a leading zero or with an international prefix. Timing normalises them, but a consistent list always imports cleaner.
After the import, skim the list. A contact that came in as "Mum" or "Garage" is better fixed now.
Common questions
No. Importing is entirely silent. Messages only go out when you send them.
They are not created again. Timing matches them by phone number.
No. The import brings customer details. History builds up from here on.
