How to turn on the waiting list
When nothing is free, the customer joins a waiting list instead of giving up. When a slot opens, you know exactly who to offer it to.
Where to start
The "Business" tab, then "Availability"
Open availability settings
From "Business", tap "Availability" at the top of the screen.

Scroll to the section and flip the toggle. From then on, a customer who tries to book a taken slot is offered a place on the list.

Off, a freed slot is held for you and you choose who to offer it to. On, Timing offers the slot itself, in list order.

Once the waiting list is active, an extra "Waiting List" tab appears in "Bookings" with everyone who is waiting.

Tips from the field
The waiting list is available on Professional and above.
A waiting list earns its keep at peak hours. Instead of walking to a competitor, the customer stays on your list.
When someone cancels, check the waiting list first. That is an open slot with a buyer already attached.
Manual promotion keeps you in control of the order. Useful when you have regulars you want to favour.

Yes, when it is offered to them. With manual promotion that happens when you promote them, with automatic promotion it happens right away.
There is no limit. The list is ordered by when people joined.
No. It is a higher plan capability. If the toggle is locked, tapping it shows the details.
